DeMuKo at #Disinfo2026 in Vilnius
From October 6 to 8, 2026, the European community working to combat disinformation will meet in Vilnius: #Disinfo2026 , the annual conference of the EU DisinfoLab , brings together research, journalism, politics, civil society, and technology. The conference focuses on security-related issues and highlights investigation and foreign information manipulation and interference (FIMI).

The program focuses on enforcing the DSA, infrastructures and financial flows that support disinformation, and offensive strategies to counter disinformation campaigns.
Equally relevant is examining where public opinion is actually formed today. The conference focuses on new digital spaces and forms of manipulation that traditional media literacy programs have so far barely reached.
The project team will use the opportunity for Europe-wide networking and will subsequently report on the most important results of the conference.
